Do you have extensive experience in building permits and leadership? We are looking for a building permit manager for an established organization in Bohuslän.

We are now seeking an interim manager for building permits for a community planning operation in Bohuslän. The assignment is aimed at those who can quickly take overall responsibility for the building permit operations and ensure quality, structure, and continuity. The role offers a meaningful managerial position with significant responsibility in public administration according to PBL, the opportunity to lead experienced employees, and contribute to well-functioning processes in community building.

Your responsibilities

As a building permit manager, you will lead and be responsible for the operations during a transition period.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Leading, supporting, and developing employees within building permits.
• Being responsible for public administration according to the Planning and Building Act.
• Ensuring legally secure decisions and effective working methods.
• Managing finances, personnel, and operational planning.
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Good to know

The assignment is an interim position starting well before March 22, where you will be employed by TNG and leased to the relevant organization. The work will primarily take place on-site at the organization's premises in Bohuslän.

Our expectations

We are looking for someone with several years of leadership experience and a good understanding of the public administration role of building permit operations. You have an academic education relevant to the assignment and experience in managing finances, personnel, and operations. You have solid knowledge of the Planning and Building Act and experience in the community building process. As a person, you are confident, structured, and communicative, with the ability to create trust during change. You have excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and a B driver's license.
